Roles and Responsibilities:
- Content Creation: Edit, assemble, and enhance short-form video content.
- Storytelling: Craft narratives and stories within the brief timeframes.
- Visual Enhancement: Enhance video and audio quality, adjust colour grading, and incorporate graphics, animations, and effects to make the content visually appealing.
- Music Integration: Select and sync appropriate music tracks to enhance the overall viewing experience.
- Trend Awareness: Stay updated on the latest social media trends and styles, ensuring content remains relevant and attractive to target audiences.
- Collaboration: Work closely with creative directors, content strategists, and clients to bring their vision to life while meeting project deadlines.
- Feedback Integration: Incorporate feedback and revisions to refine and improve content quality.
- Platform Optimization: Ensure videos adhere to platform-specific guidelines and dimensions.
Skills Required:
- Proven experience as a Video Editor, with a portfolio showcasing Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts.
- Proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects and Final Cut Pro)
- Strong understanding of social media platforms, trends, and audience preferences.
- Knowledge of video compression, codecs, and file formats.
- Creative storytelling skills and an eye for visual aesthetics.
- Ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Familiarity with motion graphics and animation is a plus.
- Experience with colour grading and sound editing is a bonus.
